Invisalign

Invisalign is the “clear” alternative to traditional braces. Invisalign moves the teeth gradually without the discomfort of traditional braces. You can move your teeth and still be able to clean them and eat without having hardware in your mouth. Invisalign allows you to get the result you want with a removable, invisible, comfortable alternative.

In most cases, Invisalign treatment takes about 8 to 10 months to complete. Sometimes it can take a year or more. Many esthetic and cosmetic concerns can be addressed with the help of Invisalign including:

The treatment consists of using a series of clear plastic trays that gradually move the teeth. The number of sets of trays is different in each case. The treatment progresses as you move through the different sets of trays, changing them about every two weeks.

When you visit our office to learn more about Invisalign, we will start by screening you to see if you are a candidate. If you are and you decide to move forward with the treatment we will start with collecting all of the necessary records. We will take x-rays, photos, and models of your teeth. All these things will be submitted to the Invisalign lab where they will be scanned into a computer. The trays will be constructed and you will come back and start treatment.
