I take my profession very seriously, and I am always pleased to find others in the community who do the same. In this day and age, I believe that quality is not always the priority, and money seems to dictate many decisions. And I have never really had a pleasant dentist visit.
However, that all changed when I visited Dr. Rice and his staff. I was extremely impressed with the quality, friendliness, professionalism and affordability of your service.
When I was looking for a new dentist I received an advertisement in the mail for your practice. I was enticed by the great special you were offering for the cleaning and xrays, so I decided to send you an email. I received a very polite and timely response. I got set up with an appointment immediately. Kellie had a cancellation a few days later, so she offered me an even earlier appointment!
The drive to the Crozet office from Charlottesville was short and sweet. The office was very easy to find with the directions I was given. The entire staff was very courteous and helpful. We did the cleaning and xrays. The hygienist was thorough, informative, and gentle. She gave my teeth the best cleaning they have ever had! She gave me great advice for maintaining clean teeth at home, and samples! I love samples!
After the cleaning, Dr. Rice came in to examine me. I did not have to wait at all to be seen. He made me feel very comfortable. He was positive and caring.
Instead of dreading my next dental appointment, I will look forward to returning to such a compassionate group of professionals. It was worth the drive to Crozet. Many thanks to you all for your compassion and care for me. You have an exceptional practice and you made everything easy for me. It is so refreshing to see this high quality of work and effort. I love my new patient bag!

I feel like its almost not like a dentist office atmosphere. That's a good thing. Most dentist's offices are quiet, boring and somewhat scary. Not Drs. Rice and Rice's office. I don't know if you guys get that a lot, but it’s not like a normal dentist office and I like it.Aaron H.

The atmosphere at Rice and Rice is very calm and relaxing. Tina cleaned my teeth and did an excellent job explaining what additional work needed to be done. I did not feel as though she was fussing or belittling me as she explained areas where I need to focus when brushing/flossing at home. Dr. Jennifer was her usual charming and cheery self.
